Jovadi July Gala

Jovadi returned to Paris, the City of Lights, to celebrate the launch of the Luminous Collection. Held the final evening of Haute Couture week, the beautiful Belle Époque Peninsula Hotel once again provided a spectacular setting that was pristinely matched with the signature white glove Peninsula service.

Clients, celebrities, influencers and global socialites from four continents donned their haute couture and tuxedos and gathered in the Rotunda over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as models strode by wearing the most elegant pieces from the new collection of fine jewellery.

After the cocktail hour, the doors of the Etoile Ballroom opened to reveal a grand setting overflowing with candles, flowers, and music. Once seated, guests were surprised by a soprano, who sang arias accompanied by a grand piano, including Lerner and Loewe’s I Could Have Danced All Night and Gershwin’s Summertime.

After being serenaded, founder and creative director Ella Peters extended a warm welcome to all guests in attendance, and entertained the audience with videos highlighting the design sense, attention to detail and subtle nuances of the Luminous Collection.

Executive Chef Christophe Raoux prepared a sumptuous multi-course dinner, paired perfectly with vintage French wines. The greatest surprise of the evening came just after dinner when Ella was presented by her sisters with a giant birthday cake, hers being only two weeks before the grand spectacle.

As guests enjoyed dessert, the music heated up and the band played some of the greatest dance hits of all time. The crowd leaped up out of their seats and on to the dance floor, many dancing on into the wee hours of the morning with stars in their eyes sparkling like Jovadi diamonds.
