La Nuit des Etoiles Gala to benefit the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation

Jovadi was proud to be a presenting sponsor of the Nuit des Etoiles gala in Belgium, benefitting the ongoing restoration of our oceans and conservation of endangered species by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.

Princes and princesses, dukes and duchesses, and other crowned heads from across Europe converged with industry leaders, celebrities and international entertainers for a special black tie evening inside the magnificent Egmont Palace. First built in the 16th century and later greatly expanded in the neoclassical style, the opulent setting with its Flemish tapestries, marble columns and gold leafing was a perfect backdrop for the display of Jovadi jewels.

As models in Jovadi jewelry paired with exclusive haute couture designs mingled through the crowd, guests were invited to discover the complete Fire & Ice collection displayed in special cases. After sharing a brief moment with Price Albert and other VVIPs over champagne and hors d’oeuvres, the doors to the Grand Ballroom were opened and guests were treated to the finest Belgian cuisine.

Timeless and sophisticated, a Jovadi Begonia ring featuring a large blue sapphire mounted amid a sea of sparkling white diamonds was offered at auction and fetched the highest price of any lot on offer. As a capstone to the evening, attendees were serenaded by famed Belgian singer Maurane, who unexpectedly passed away the following morning, making this her final performance. It was a singularly special event, a memory to last as long as a diamond.
